Ram R. Kancherla

Kancherla joined Arrien Pharmaceuticals as SAB Member on September 2014. He brings extensive experience in building, and leading clinical Oncology groups and managing Clinical trials programs from First-In-Human trials to approvals across multiple cancer therapeutics. Dr. Kancherla currently serving as Managing Partner for Hudson Valley Hematology/Oncology Associates, Chairman of Hematology/Oncology at St. Francis Hospital and Director of research at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Dr. Kancherla was most recently the Director of the Autologous Stem Cell and Transplant Program at New York Medical College, where he performed a few hundred stem cell transplants. Dr. Kancherla was also served as Assistant Professor at New York Medical College.

Dr. Kancherla competed his Residency and Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from State University of New York at Brooklyn and New York Medical College. He received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Rangaraya Medical College of University of Health Science from India in 1982. Dr. Kancherla published more than 30 publications in Clinical Research both in Hematology and Oncology disciplines.
