Prajna Murdaya

Prajna joined his family business, The Berca Group, in 2003. For over ten years, he managed a footwear factory that produced shoes for Nike, Under Armour, and other popular brands, before managing Jakarta International Expo, Indonesia's largest exhibition center. In 2015, Prajna founded Shoemaker Studios, a music incubator that provides a safe creative space for musicians; the studio won three AMI Awards (Indonesian Grammys) for Best Pop Album, Best Jazz Album and Best of the Best. In 2019, he produced and promoted Yo-Yo Ma’s first solo recital in Southeast Asia.

Currently, Prajna is working to realize a large-scale redevelopment project that aims to transform a site in Singapore into the world's largest creative hub, establishing Singapore as a global epicenter for the creative industry and strengthening its position as a landmark destination for innovative entrepreneurs and professionals, talented creatives, and tourists from around the world.

Prajna has a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. As an undergraduate student, he co-founded Stanford's first student-led ecumenical Buddhist community and was a member of the a cappella singing group, The Stanford Fleet Street Singers, and competed in the finals at the National Championship of Collegiate A Cappella at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.
