Octavia Haysbert

Octavia Haysbert is an emerging professional with a strong background in leadership, marketing, and public relations. Currently serving as an Alumni Council Board Member for Art with a Heart, Octavia facilitates connections between alumni and staff while contributing to events and content development. As a selected scholar for the 2024 Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program, Octavia is engaged in advanced training in investment management. Additional experiences include membership at Black Girls In Media, a stint as a Public Relations Event Intern at CLD PR, and a role as a Venture Capital Summer Analyst at StepStone Group. Octavia has also participated in the Launching Your Legacy program by T. Rowe Price and was previously a Mentee in the WAVE mentorship program. A dedicated brand manager at Life of A Working Model Inc., Octavia successfully led marketing efforts that garnered significant audience engagement. Octavia is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
