Gideon D'Arcangelo

Gideon D'Arcangelo is an accomplished designer and project leader currently serving as Principal at Arup since April 2019, where focus lies on integrating digital experiences within the built environment. Prior to this role, Gideon was Vice President of Creative Strategy at ESI Design from January 1995 to April 2019. Gideon also has experience as a Board Member for the Association for Cultural Equity from 2010 to 2016 and worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Communications at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program from 2000 to 2010. Additional experience includes a Producer role at the Association for Cultural Equity from 1990 to 1995 and as a musician at Knitting Factory between 1990 and 1994. Gideon holds a Bachelor of Arts with special honors in Music from the University of Chicago, earned between 1984 and 1987.
