James Kenny

James Kenny is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs, communication, and strategic management. Currently serving as Director of Global Affairs at Arup since June 2011, James collaborates with senior leadership on geopolitical issues and reputational risks. Prior to this role, James was Chief Speechwriter for the Home Secretary and Secretaries of State for Transport and DWP in the UK Government, providing high-level presentational advice. James also led a public affairs and PR firm in Brussels, focusing on media relations and engaging with EU officials on various policy matters. Earlier, as VP and Director of Content at RISI, James managed content strategy and operations during a significant transition in the company. James holds a GDL in Law from BPP, a Master's in Management from Boston University, and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Coventry University.
