Joel Jones

Joel Jones is an experienced ICT / Telecoms Consultant at Arup since September 2019, specializing in multidisciplinary projects for diverse clients. Previous experience includes a role as a Service Engineer at Status Metrology, where Joel independently serviced and calibrated aeronautical Coordinate Measuring Machines and developed technical requirement proposals. Additionally, Joel acted as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Nottingham, where a rolling stock simulation was designed to analyze rail signaling performance, and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Siemens, focusing on wind turbine transformer modeling. Joel holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from the University of Nottingham.
