Shant der-Torossian

Shant Der-Torossian, PE, currently serves as Associate Principal and Americas West Electrical Team Lead at Arup, a position held since April 2020. Prior to this role, Shant worked at SmithGroup as Electrical Engineering Discipline Leader from June 2018 to April 2020, and held various positions at Ted Jacob Engineering Group from November 2008 to June 2018, including Principal and Senior Project Manager. Shant's experience encompasses the design of electrical distribution systems and low voltage systems for healthcare facilities, along with preparation of computer-based models and power system studies. Earlier, Shant contributed as an Electrical Engineer at Dar Al Handasah, focusing on significant projects like the Dubai World Central. Shant holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Lebanese American University.
