Mattias Asplund

Mattias Asplund is an experienced procurement and category management professional with a robust background in packaging and supply chain management. Currently serving as Group Category Manager for Primary Packaging at Asahi Europe & International since January 2018, Mattias manages strategic material categories including aluminum cans and glass bottles. Prior roles include Global Category Procurement Director for Liquids & Foils at Amcor, and Senior Manager for Strategic Sourcing Packaging at Mondelēz International, where Mattias oversaw significant spend categories in the EEMEA region. Experience also includes key roles at IKEA and Volvo Car Group, alongside a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Gothenburg.
