Charilaos Sarafis

Charilaos Sarafis is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies in the logistics and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Team Leader at Asahi UK since March 2024, Sarafis previously held the position of Engineering Site Manager at Logistex after a TUPE transfer from Swisslog, where significant contributions were made from July 2021 to April 2023. Prior to that, Sarafis was a Resident Engineering Team Leader at TGW Logistics Group and served as Lead Shift Engineer at Dematic. An engineering career began with a Multi Skilled Engineer role at Bakkavor, following positions as Commissioning & Field Service Engineer and Sales Engineer at SIVVAS S.A. and TECHNICAL SYSTEM S.A., respectively. Sarafis began as a reserve officer in the Hellenic Army's Engineer Corps. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Engineering Control Systems & Instrumentation from The University of Huddersfield and a BSc in Cybernetics & Virtual Worlds from the University of Bradford.
