Monique Dacheff-Meiske

Monique Dacheff is an accomplished music educator and arts advocate with extensive experience in various educational and nonprofit settings. Currently serving as the Orchestra Director at Meridian World School since July 2023, Monique also holds roles as a Recording & Musical Artist with ASCAP and as a Nonprofit Sponsor at Austin Creative Alliance. Monique has significantly contributed to the Austin Independent School District as an AISD Fine Arts Strategic Arts Partner since April 2015. As the founder of Artistic Education Company, Monique developed a nonprofit organization dedicated to music education from March 2006 to March 2023. Previous experiences include teaching positions in multiple schools, a Special Project Lead role for music initiatives funded by the City of Austin, and a background in special education. Monique's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, a Master of Education from Chaminade University, and a PhD in K to 12 Educational Leadership and Administration from Walden University.
