Kelsea Johnston

Kelsea Johnston is a Registered Nurse at Ascension, specializing in acute care within a step down trauma, orthopedic, burns, and plastics unit since November 2023. Kelsea completed a 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program at MGH Institute of Health Professions in September 2023, following a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from The College of Wooster in 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Health Coach at Wooster Community Hospital Health System from February 2019 to May 2022, Assistant Athletic Trainer at The College of Wooster from August 2018 to April 2022, and as a Research Intern at the Kenya Medical Research Institute in July 2020, where Kelsea contributed to research on infectious diseases and data analysis using R Studio.
