Kevin Casey

Kevin Casey currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Essentia Health since January 2022. Prior to this role, Kevin held positions such as Chief Clinical Officer for the Toledo Market at Mercy Health from January 2020 to January 2022 and Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from October 2016 to March 2020. Kevin's extensive experience includes roles as Chief Clinical Officer at Mercy Health St Rita’s Health Partners and Vice President of Medical Affairs/Chief Medical Officer at St. Rita's Medical Center. Additionally, Kevin served as Medical/Service Line Director for Emergency Medicine and Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Residency at Conemaugh Health System, along with a prior role as Associate Medical Director at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Kevin holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, an MBA from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Marietta College.
