Chair Of SPC 185.5 Air Cleaner Test In A Chamber/side-duct System at ASHRAE

Kathleen Owen is an accomplished Air Pollution Control Engineer with extensive experience in air filtration and testing. Since 2009, Kathleen has been actively involved with ASHRAE, serving as Chair of SPC 185.5, Vice Chair of TRG2.RAST, and Chair of the ASHRAE 52.2 Committee, among other roles. Kathleen has contributed to critical research and development in air cleaning technologies, particularly through leadership positions in various committees. In addition to working at ASHRAE, Kathleen runs Owen Air Filtration Consulting, LLC, which focuses on air filtration and test method consulting. Prior experience at RTI International included managing a commercial air cleaner testing laboratory. Kathleen holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MS in Air Pollution Control Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
