Carlos F. Guerra Jr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, contract management, and IT support. Currently serving as a Contract Specialist at ASI Government since February 2024, Carlos previously held the position of Buyer II at El Paso County, managing purchasing for county services. With a strong background that includes roles as a Senior Consultant at ASI Government and Purchaser IV with the Health and Human Services Commission, Carlos has demonstrated expertise in ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and providing technical support. A retired US Army veteran, Carlos brings over two decades of experience in food defense, federal procurement management, and logistics. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Security Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso and has pursued additional certifications in cybersecurity and computer networking.
