"The Asian Pacific Student Alliance is a non-profit, culturally based organization established to unite diverse students to learn and share in the Asian and Pacific Islander cultural identities, traditions and beliefs. Ultimately, to inform and involve all members in issues that may affect their lives or welfare of the community."​

APSA tries to become more visible and vocal w﻿ith issues that affect our community while aiming to share the Asian Pacific culture with all ethnicities. Our organization is open to anyone who is interested in learning about Asian Pacific culture, communities, and various miscellaneous things. We want everyone to develop an appreciation for the rich traditions and beliefs of Asian Pacific cultures.

APSA hopes to help and to be of assistance in advocating and representing the organization's interest both within and outside of campus. We help serve the community either by volunteering for or providing service events.

Throughout the year, APSA dedicates time to have various social, cultural and community events that serves the purpose in our organization. Some of the awesome & various events that APSA has participated in include:

* GreenFest

SDSU's APSA also networks with UCSD and other colleges & universities around to have socials and other community projects together. Fundraising activities occur throughout the year to help alleviate some of the costs of certain events that take place during the semesters.

Composed of key positions such as the Cultural Coordinator, Membership Secretary, and Executive Secretary, this team manages communications, coordinates events, and oversees membership engagement. They ensure that the APSA operates smoothly, facilitating the planning and execution of various cultural and community initiatives while maintaining strong connections with both members and external stakeholders.
