Olivier Balmes

Olivier Balmes has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and leadership. Currently serving as Group Lead and Team Lead at ASML since April 2019, Olivier Balmes has previously held significant positions at MAX IV Laboratory, including DiffMAX Project Manager, Hard X-ray Group Manager, and Beamline Manager from September 2013 to March 2019. Prior to that, Olivier Balmes worked at ESRF - European Radiation Synchrotron Facility as a Scientist and Postdoctoral researcher from March 2006 to August 2013. Olivier Balmes also completed a Postdoc at Haldor Topsoe A/S from 2004 to 2006 and obtained a PhD at Lund University between 1998 and 2004.
