Marta Cygan

Marta Cygan, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Director of Finance and Director of Finance Systems and Business Analytics at Aspect Structural Engineers since January 2020, while also working as an independent contractor focusing on financial planning, analysis, and process improvements. Prior to these roles, Marta held significant positions at Kit and Ace, overseeing the FP&A function as Financial Reporting Manager and managing financial reporting as Senior Financial Analyst. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Accountant at the Canadian Cancer Society, where Marta improved efficiency in budget processes, and as Accountant II at NDG Financial Corporation, responsible for consolidated financial statements. Early career roles included Junior Accountant at Sen Western Wholesale Lumber and Accounting/Payroll Coordinator at Genesis Security, both of which involved streamlining accounting processes. Marta holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from The University of British Columbia.
