Mark L. Noetzel

Mark L. Noetzel is the current Director at Aspen Aerogels. Mark has previously held the position of Senior Advisor, North American Biorefinery at Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. from March 2010 to June 2011. Mr. Noetzel was also a Member Board of Directors at Axiall Corporation from September 2009 to August 2016. In addition, they have served as Managing Director at Akoya Operating Partners LLC from July 2019 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were a Consultant at Glencoe Capital from January 2018 to November 2018. Additionally, Mr. Noetzel has held the position of CEO and President at Cilion, Inc from June 2007 to May 2009. Mark's previous experience also includes working as Group Vice President, Fuels at BP from January 2001 to December 2007 and as Group Vice President, Chemicals at BP from January 1997 to December 2001.

Mark L. Noetzel received a BA in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
