Mari Bennett

Mari Bennett is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development, program management, and education. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Aspire Public Schools Foundation since March 2019, Mari has established a comprehensive grants management system, updated Salesforce for effective data management, and led efforts in grant writing and cultivation of funder relationships. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Development at TNTP, where Mari managed grant requirements and implementation, and Chief Operating Officer at T2 Advanced Training Group, overseeing all operational and financial strategies. Additional experience encompasses program management and talent acquisition roles at various educational organizations, including The New Teacher Project and Teach California Charters. Mari holds an Educational Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Mercy University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological & Brain Sciences and English Literature from Dartmouth College.
