Arijit Basu is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the lubricants and construction chemicals industries. Currently serving as Managing Director of Veedol Engine Oils since January 2020, Arijit is focused on strategic growth, efficiency programs, and organizational development. Previously, Arijit held several senior leadership roles at Sika, including Managing Director and Country Head, where responsibilities encompassed profitability, business development, and market expansion. Arijit also lends expertise as Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Manufacturing Sub-council -East, and serves on the boards of Granville Oil & Chemicals Ltd and ENEOS. Educational qualifications include an Executive Management and Leadership Program from the Indian Institute of Management, a PGDBM from the Institute of Modern Management, and a B.Sc in Chemistry from Calcutta University.
