Christopher Simmons

Christopher Simmons has extensive experience in various roles within the marine, training, and assessment sectors. Currently serving as a General Purpose Marine Operative at Associated British Ports since May 2019, Christopher previously worked as an Assessor for Itec Skills and Employment and held a position as a Ramp Agent at Swissport. From May 2011 to December 2017, Christopher was the Lead Assessor for Wales at n-ergy, focusing on training and support for offenders in custodial settings. Earlier career highlights include roles as an Assessor/Tutor/Trainer at Capital Training SW and Roofing Supervisor at Smart Energy UK. Christopher's professional journey began in the Royal Navy, where skills were developed as a Leading Seaman Specialist from 1991 to 2003.
