Candice Mott is an experienced educator and leader in career and technical education (CTE), currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Montgomery College, as well as the Inclusion, Access, Equity, and Diversity (IAED) Manager at the Association for Career and Technical Education. In the role of CTE Performance Accountability Coordinator for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), Candice collaborates with the State CTE Director to develop and approve comprehensive programs of study. Previous positions include Career Academy Coordinator at District of Columbia Public Schools, Subject Matter Expert for NOCTI, and International Youth Project Coordinator for IREX, among others. Candice holds a Master of Science in STEM Occupational and Technical Studies from Old Dominion University, a Master of Education from Middle Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor's degree from The University of Memphis.
