Paul Stern

Paul Stern, Esq. is a legal professional currently serving as a Legal Analyst at the Association of American Universities (AAU) since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles at the American Immigration Lawyers Association from February 2016 to November 2024, where Paul held various positions including Senior Policy and Practice Associate, Policy and Practice Associate, and Liaison Coordinator. Paul also worked as a Student Attorney at the Immigrant Justice Clinic from August 2022 to May 2023 and as a Business Immigration Paralegal at Maggio + Kattar from November 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, Paul gained experience as an Immigration Task Force Intern at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a Capitol Hill Intern for Senator Robert Menendez, and a Casework Intern for Representative Rush Holt. Paul earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics with a minor in Spanish Language and Cultures from the University of Maryland.
