Jeanne Jacobs

Jeanne Jacobs has extensive experience in higher education administration and executive search consulting. Currently serving as an Executive Search Consultant at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges since March 2021, Jacobs also holds a position as a Board Member at Baptist Health South Florida, Homestead Hospital, since October 2010. Previously, Jacobs was the President & CEO of the Homestead Campus at Miami Dade College from November 2005 to November 2020 and worked at Sinclair Community College in various roles including Vice President of Instruction and Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences from July 1995 to October 2005. Earlier career experience includes serving as Associate Dean for Human Resources and Legal Affairs at John C Calhoun State Community College from April 1992 to June 1995. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Administration of Higher Education from The University of Alabama, a Master of Education in Adult Education from Alabama A&M University Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fisk University.
