Robert J. Fortunato Jr. is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in infrastructure products and DevSecOps automation, currently serving as AVP of Infrastructure Products at Assurant since August 2010. Robert has held various leadership roles within Assurant, including Director of Technology Services for both Cloud Operations and DevSecOps Automation Enablement, focusing on service enablement, operational efficiency, and team management across extensive technology deployments. Prior to Assurant, Robert gained significant experience at Miami Dade College, where leadership included transforming mainframe systems to Linux platforms and overseeing comprehensive IT client services. Robert's educational background includes ongoing doctoral studies in Computer Science, alongside multiple advanced degrees and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
