Peter Walters

Peter Walters has extensive experience in the housing sector, currently serving as Chair of the Aster 55 Committee at Aster Group UK since January 2022. As an independent consultant in social housing since October 2017, Peter Walters also held the position of Non-Executive Director at Homes for Lambeth until November 2022 and was Chair of the Board at Central and Cecil Housing Trust from September 2019 to January 2022. Previously, Peter Walters served as Chief Executive at VIVID Homes and First Wessex, overseeing significant housing portfolios and contributing to the establishment of VIVID Homes through a merger in 2017. Early career roles include Chief Executive at English Churches Housing Group and Director of Housing and Social Services at London Borough of Merton. Peter Walters holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MPhil in History from the University of Leicester.
