Alastair Wilson

Alastair Wilson is a highly experienced automotive engineer with a career spanning over two decades in vehicle attribute delivery, product engineering, and technical management. Currently serving as Chief Product Engineer at Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd since December 2024, Alastair previously held notable positions at Rivian, including Director of Attributes for Future Programmes and Principal Attributes and Development Vehicle Engineer, where responsibilities included comprehensive vehicle attribute delivery for next-generation vehicles. Alastair's earlier tenure at McLaren Automotive Ltd encompassed roles as Vehicle Line Senior Manager and Chassis and Vehicle Technology Vehicle Line Manager for the Artura and GT Series. Additionally, Alastair contributed significantly to Jaguar Land Rover as Group Leader of Braking Performance and held various leadership positions focused on chassis and sustainability attributes. Alastair's academic background includes a degree in Automotive Engineering Design from Coventry University.
