Benoit Adelus

Benoit Adelus has been Astorg’s Senior Advisor for Healthcare since 2017.

He has been the CEO and Chairman of Sebia, a previous Astorg portfolio company, since 2008. He has over 30 years’ experience within the med-tech / in vitro diagnostics sectors in senior leaderships roles and has managed three LBOs during his time at CEO as well as two more whilst Chairman at St Hubert and Arkopharma. Previously Benoit was the Executive Vice President at Eurofins and the CEO of BioMerieux from 2000-2006, where he led the 2004 IPO. Prior to this, Benoit also worked as the COO/Executive Vice President of Merial and was a Commercial Director at Rhône-Merieux.

Benoit holds a Doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ecole nationale vétérinaire de Nantes and completed an MBA from HEC in Paris.
