Arafat Farooqui

Arafat Farooqui is an experienced data and information design leader with a robust background in data architecture, governance, and analytics. Currently serving as Director of Data and Information Design, Innovation, & AI at AstraZeneca since June 2018, Arafat oversees a multi-million dollar Axial Business Transformation program, focusing on data migration, architecture, and AI integration. Previous roles include Associate Director/Enterprise Data Architect and Enterprise Data Architect at AstraZeneca, Senior Data Architect at Coats, and Applications Architect at Barclays, among others. Arafat holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science from Northeastern University London and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
