Heath Christie

Heath Christie has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Executive Director & General Manager at AstraZeneca since July 2001. Key responsibilities include establishing a new API supply site and managing the global supply and manufacture of Pulmicort Respules. Previous roles encompass Senior Director of Quality Assurance, overseeing compliance for a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, and Senior Director Operations for parenteral drug filling and packaging. Additionally, Heath's early career at Calypte Biomedical involved managing QA/QC within a BSL 3 cell culture facility. Heath holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
