Katherine Wahl

Katherine Wahl is a seasoned professional in digital accessibility and user experience, currently serving as a Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist at AstraZeneca since March 2023. With extensive experience in academia, Katherine has been a Lecturer at Northeastern University since December 2011, teaching courses in usability and digital accessibility. Prior to this, a tenure at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology lasted from October 2000 to March 2023, where Katherine contributed as a Senior UX and Accessibility Consultant, raising awareness and providing consulting on numerous digital accessibility projects. Earlier roles include Project Manager/Communications Coordinator at MIT Medical, Director of Promotion and Outreach at Eagle Design & Management, Inc., and various positions in social work and information management. Katherine holds a Certificate in User Experience from Bentley University, a Master's in Aging Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Graduate School, and a Bachelor's in Biology from Villanova University.
