Laurence Somerville

Laurence Somerville has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as a Clinical Account Director at AstraZeneca since January 2005, with previous roles including Executive Medical Science Liaison and Senior Regional Scientific Manager in the Cardiovascular Therapeutic Area. Responsibilities include communicating medical and scientific initiatives for marketed and developmental products and providing scientific information to Key Opinion Leaders, Healthcare Professionals, and Key Decision Makers. Prior experience as a Medical Information Scientist at AstraZeneca from 2002 to 2004 involved building relationships with KOLs at the University of Alabama and University of Tennessee. Laurence completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Auburn University and holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University.
