Osman Mia

Osman Mia has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as VP and COO Global Finance Services at AstraZeneca since January 2016, Osman has held multiple senior positions, including CFO for the Middle East and Africa and Business Partner Director International Finance. Prior to this, Osman was the Chief Financial Officer at AstraZeneca South Africa from November 2013 to December 2015, where responsibilities included enhancing financial awareness and managing various organizational functions. In a previous tenure at Tetra Pak from 2001 to 2013, Osman progressed from Financial Controller to Finance Director and ultimately to SSA Cluster Leader for Finance and Business Transformation. Beginning a career at PwC as an Audit Senior, Osman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by credentials from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
