Yu Fu

Yu Fu, PhD, is an accomplished professional in computational pathology and bioinformatics with extensive experience in cancer genomics. Currently serving as an Associate Director at AstraZeneca since July 2023, Yu Fu previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist and People Manager at Owkin from September 2020 to March 2023, leading multiple research projects in digital pathology and biomarker identification. Prior roles include postdoctoral fellowships at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) and Gustave Roussy, where Yu Fu focused on applying deep learning to predict genomic alterations and coordinated clinical trials. The educational background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from Université Paris-Saclay and a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics in biology from Université Paris Cité.
