Jo Dewaele

Jo Dewaele has an extensive background in marketing strategy, product development, and technical advisory roles at ASTRID since August 1998. Key responsibilities include overseeing new product development, standardization processes, and managing research and development of the ASTRID radio network. Prior to joining ASTRID, Jo Dewaele served as a computer science engineer for the Ministry of Justice, where involvement in the telecommunications aspects of the ASTRID project included writing public procurement tender documents and leading evaluation teams. Jo Dewaele holds a Master’s degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master’s in Electronics from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen.
