José Achache

José Achache is an esteemed leader in the fields of geophysics and Earth observation, currently serving as Chairman for multiple organizations, including Media Lario S.r.l., Dotphoton, REOR20, and ASTROCAST, all since 2016 and beyond. Previously, José Achache held prominent academic and executive roles, such as Professor at the Institut de physique du globe de Paris and Executive Director for the Group on Earth Observations. José Achache's expertise was further honed as Director of Earth Observation at the European Space Agency and Deputy Director General at the Centre National d'Études Spatiales. With a rich academic background, José Achache earned a PhD in Physics from Université Paris Cité and a PhD in Geophysics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, complemented by a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University.
