Ahmadi Sukarno

He had a career as a teacher, among others as Lecturer Ma'had (Islamic Studies Institute) Sholahudin Bogor (1993-1997), taught Arabic at STM YAPIS Bogor (1996-1998), and taught Islamic Religious Education at IPB (1998-2000). Then, from 2000 to 2004, he served as the Secretary of the Shari'ah Supervisory Board of Syarikat Takaful Indonesia. Then, he became a member of the Shari'ah Supervisory Board of Sinarmas Life Syari'ah Insurance (2004 - present) (Sinarmas Syari'ah Life Insurance MSIG) and became a member of the Shari'ah Supervisory Board of the Shari'ah Business Unit (UUS) of Bank Sinarmas Syariah. 2009 to present. He currently serves as a member of the Shariah Supervisory Board at PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk.

In 1994, he received his Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Shari'ah Ma'had Al 'ulum Al Islamiyah wal 'arabiyah which was fostered by Muhammad ibn Sa'ud University. Then he completed his Masters in Islamic Studies at Ibnu Khaldun University, Bogor (Concentration on Islamic Mu'amalah Law) in 2002 and the Postgraduate Program in Islamic Economics Studies Program at State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta in 2004. In 2015, he received his Doctor of Education degree. Islam from Islam Ibn Khaldun University, Bogor.

Appointed as Member of the Sharia Supervisory Board based on the Deed of Statement of Shareholders' Decision Number 46 dated 23 May 2019 drawn up before Aulia Taufani SH, Notary in Jakarta and reappointed as Member of the Sharia Supervisory Board based on the Deed of Statement of Meeting Resolution Number 59 dated 25 May 2021 drawn up before Aulia Taufani SH, Notary in Jakarta. He was declared to have passed the Fit and Proper Test by the OJK based on the Decision of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Number: KEP-226/NB.1/2015 concerning the Determination of Fit and Proper Test for the Sharia Supervisory Board of PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG on behalf of Ahmadi Sukarno dated 10 February 2015.

Currently, he works as a Lecturer, Head of Business and Tourism of the National Sharia Council - Indonesian Ulema Council, and member of the expert team on a number of sharia bond (Sukuk) issuances, as well as management and sharia finance consultant in a number of financial consulting institutions.
