Tomoyuki Monden

He started his career by working at Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Co., started as a staff (1999 - 2001), then served as Supervisor Corporate Planning (2001 - 2002), Assistant Investment Manager (2004 - 2010), and Deputy Investment Manager (2010 - 2012). In 2012, he served as Deputy Manager of Corporate Planning at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. Then, he worked as a Technical Advisor at Hong Leong Assurance Berhad, Malaysia (2012 - 2017). In 2017-2020, he served as Corporate Planning Manager at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. He currently serves as Director at PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk.

He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign in 2004 after previously completing his Bachelor of Laws degree from Keio University in 1999.

He has no financial, share ownership, and/or family relationship with other members of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Commissioners, and/or controlling shareholders.

He was declared to have passed the Fit and Proper Test by the OJK based on the Decree of the OJK Board of Commissioners Number KEP-25/KDK.05/2020 concerning the results of the Fit and Proper Test of Mr. Tomoyuki Monden as Candidate for Director of PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk. dated July 8, 2020.

Currently, he does not have a position in another company. Internally at PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk., he currently serves as a member of the supporting committees for the Board of Directors.
