Ariana Estoras

Ariana Estoras CInstD MSc is an experienced leader in Māori strategy, research, and partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Māori Strategy at AgResearch since October 2015. In this role, Ariana leads initiatives that integrate Mātauranga Māori with scientific research and fosters strategic partnerships with Māori organizations. Additionally, Ariana holds positions on the Dairy NZ Science Panel and as a Director at AsureQuality, bringing extensive knowledge from previous roles at Rural Leaders, FoodHQ, the Ministry for Primary Industries, Beef + Lamb New Zealand, and Meat and Wool New Zealand, among others. Ariana's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Otago and ongoing studies in Mātauranga Māori and governance.
