Sundar Kuppuswamy

Sundar Kuppuswamy is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Data Scientist at Asurion since April 2016, Sundar focuses on building and leading teams to create machine learning and generative AI applications, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiencies. Prior to Asurion, Sundar held the position of Director of Data Science and Analytics at Sabre Corporation, where responsibilities included guiding teams in providing analytical consultation and developing solutions for various travel-related business problems. Previous roles also include Manager of Marketing Analytics at State National Companies and positions at Sabre, including Supervisor of Business Analysis and Quality Assurance and Product Manager. Sundar holds a Master’s Degree in Systems & Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from RV College of Engineering, and is involved as a Technical Advisory Board Member for the Graduate Program in Data Science & Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
