Jason Pankiw

Jason Pankiw, P. Eng. is an experienced drilling superintendent with extensive expertise in managing drilling operations in the Canadian oil and gas industry. At Athabasca Oil Corporation since October 2019, Jason oversees safety and day-to-day operations for multiple rigs, focusing on extended reach horizontal wells in key formations. Prior to this role, Jason held the same position at Encana from June 2011 to June 2019, and served as Drilling and Completions Manager at Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd from June 2007 to June 2011, overseeing SAGD drilling and completion activities. Jason began their career as a Drilling Superintendent at ConocoPhillips from October 2005 to June 2007. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from NAIT.
