Hollis Plexico currently serves as a Federal Junior Grants Manager at AtkinsRéalis since June 2024. Previously, Hollis was a Student Lead for Data Driven Diversity Equity and Inclusion at Davidson College (D4) from August 2023 to May 2024, where responsibilities included liaison work with community partners and grant writing that secured a $5,000 grant. Hollis participated in the Ann Atwater Cohort at the Smith-Davidson Leadership Initiative, receiving training in public policy analysis and social problem solutions. As a Bonner Scholar at The Bonner Foundation, Hollis engaged in non-profit administration and social justice leadership training. During summer 2023, Hollis was selected for the Public Policy & International Affairs Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota, focusing on storytelling and Op-Ed writing. Past internships include roles with ActionNC, the U.S. Department of State, and Charlotte Sister Cities, among others. Hollis holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Davidson College and has completed a program at the School for International Training.
