Preston Thompson

Preston Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs, campaign management, and media communication. Currently serving as the Government Affairs Director for the Atlanta Apartment Association, Preston monitors legislative and regulatory activities affecting the rental housing industry. Previous roles include Chief of Staff for Fulton County Government, where Preston aided in policy development, and Project Manager for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus, which involved candidate recruitment and campaign consulting. With a strong background in marketing and communications, Preston has worked in various capacities, including as host of the Georgia Politics Podcast and as a campaign manager for state-level candidates. Preston holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Media Studies as well as Venue Operations and Entertainment Media from The University of Alabama.
