Matt Hajdun

Matt Hajdun currently serves as the Head of Primary School at Atlanta International School since July 2023. Previously, Matt held the position of Assistant Director of Learning - Language Development at The Columbus School from July 2019 to June 2023. Matt has also worked as an Instructional Coach and EAL Teacher for Grades 5 and 6 at the International School of Brussels from July 2017 to June 2019, and as the Lower School Director of Teaching and Learning, Instructional Coach, ELL Teacher, and Grade 3 Teacher at the American School of Brasilia between July 2013 and July 2017. Earlier in the career, Matt taught Grade 4/5 at Burlington School District from August 2008 to June 2013 and served as a Grade 3 Bilingual Teacher at Holmes Elementary School from August 2007 to June 2008. Matt Hajdun earned a Master’s degree in Reading Teacher Education from Saint Michael's College in 2013 and a Bachelor's degree in Biology with Elementary Education Certification from the same institution in 2006. Educational background includes attendance at East Catholic High School from 1997 to 2001.
