Michael A. Pitts

Michael A. Pitts serves as the Chief Education Consultant at Quality Instruction Quality Schools since July 2011, specializing in educational consulting for school systems, focusing on progress monitoring and professional learning communities. Concurrently, Michael holds the position of Executive Director at Atlanta Public Schools, managing a School Reform Team to address academic and social needs across a large school district. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Faculty member at Collaborative Learning, Principal at both Carnes Elementary School and Memphis City Schools, and Assistant Principal at Gardenview and Knight Road Elementary Schools. Michael's career also includes time as a State Evaluator for the Tennessee Department of Education and teaching sixth grade. Michael A. Pitts holds multiple degrees from Tennessee State University and is pursuing a master's degree in Education Leadership at The University of Memphis.
