Kimberly Donovan

Kimberly Donovan currently serves as the Director of the Economic Statecraft Initiative at the Atlantic Council, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Kimberly held multiple roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury/Financial Crimes Enforcement Network from 2019 to February 2023, including Acting Associate Director for the Intelligence Division. Kimberly's extensive experience includes leadership positions at the National Security Council, where efforts transformed U.S. Government counterterrorism strategies, and roles within the Treasury focused on combating terrorism financing and financial crimes. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from the American University School of International Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
