Emily Xu Hall

Emily Xu Hall is an accomplished actor and award-winning composer, lyricist, playwright, and librettist. Currently starring as Jaques Standby in The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of *As You Like It*, Emily has garnered recognition for various musical works, including the *Cherry Orchard Musical*, presented at The University of the Arts. With extensive experience in theater and film, notable collaborations include co-writing songs for the Sony Pictures film *Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile* and serving as a music supervisor for Page 73 Productions. An alumnus of New York University with an M.F.A. in Acting, Emily's diverse background also includes training at prestigious institutions like Columbia University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
