Brijendra Rao

Brijendra Rao is an experienced engineering recruiter currently working at Atlassian since December 2024. Previously, Brijendra served as Lead Recruiter for R&D at Harness, responsible for building hiring roadmaps and meeting recruitment goals in 2024. Brijendra was the Talent Acquisition Lead at Elastic from September 2021 to December 2023, playing a key role in establishing the Bangalore center's R&D team, scaling it from 9 to over 160 members. At Cloudera, from June 2017 to September 2021, Brijendra led the APAC engineering recruitment team and significantly expanded the Bangalore engineering team from 80 to over 350. Earlier roles include Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at Intuit, Channels Specialist at Google, and Recruiter at Sasken. Brijendra holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
