Subo Sinnathamby

Subo Sinnathamby is an accomplished leader in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as Chief Projects Officer and Senior Vice President of Nuclear Refurbishment at Ontario Power Generation since April 2001. Key responsibilities include overseeing the refurbishment of the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station and managing nuclear and balance of plant inspections for the CANDU fleet. Previously, Subo held multiple roles within OPG, including Vice President of Inspection & Reactor Innovation, Director of CFAM Work Management, and various management positions in nuclear operations at Pickering and Darlington. Subo is also a Board Member at Atura Power and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineer at PII Pipetronix Canada, focusing on non-destructive inspection tools for oil and gas pipelines. Subo earned a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph.
