Jaco du Preez

Jaco Du Preez is an experienced civil engineer and project management specialist with a diverse background in engineering design, construction supervision, and project monitoring. Currently serving as Projects Principal Design Specialist at Auckland Transport since May 2021, Jaco has held significant roles including Utilities Lead for the Aotea Station at Link Alliance and Senior Civil Engineer at WSP in Australia & New Zealand. Previous positions include Associate at GIBB Engineering and Architecture, Chief Engineer at NAKO ILISO, and Associate Director at Bigen Africa. Jaco's career began as Assistant Resident Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. Jaco holds a B Eng in Civil Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a Program in Project Management from the University of Pretoria.
